The bed was fairly easy to put together and our toddler helped! The bed looks beautiful in his room. Only downfall is that the bolts aren't hidden.

I bought this for my 16-month-old daughter and she loves her bed. I have put her bumper-pads from her crib around the sides so it is soft for her and it is just adorable.

My only complaint so far is the assembly. Nothing on this bed comes pre-assembled. The slats on the headboard and footboard are very difficult to fit into the top and bottom rails - I actually had to use a hammer to get them to fit properly. However, I do feel that my daughter is safe in this bed - it is solidly constructed and very sturdy.

nice bed once i got it assembled, but took almost 3 hours. everything in the instructions was labeled yet none of the parts were and nothing fit together like shown in the instructions. not all the pieces were right either. i had to leave 2 wood dahls out because they were a half inch longer than they were supposed to be. if you don't have a rubber mallet don't even think of purchasing this bed because every slat needs hammered in just to get close and for final asssembly you better just pray nothing splits because your going to have to hit it hard. you'll want a battery drill for the "self tapping" screws if you don't want to tack another hour onto assmbly. overall don't buy if your not good at assmbling poorly fitting components and in my opinion you would be better off spending a little more a getting something of a little higher quality.
